Isobel’s Place in the Park
Whitevale Park now has a special place of solitude, reflection and meditation. “Isobel’s Place in the Park”, is in memory of Isobel Thompson. Friends and neighbours will gather at the Whitevale Park for this sunset tribute to Isobel, followed by refreshments and the sharing of memories in the Whitevale Community Centre.

Isobel and her husband Tommy have been the heart and soul of Whitevale since their arrival some 50 year ago. Their commitment to our hamlet and the preservation of the North Pickering lands is unparalleled. The dedication of this quiet place in the park is in appreciation of Isobel’s selfless devotion to our community.
She has been and will always be missed.
